Some of the most helpful life-concepts for me have come from my spiritual study through yoga training and its Eastern philosophy which led me to a deeper understanding of navigating life. I’ve decided to codify some of this insight in my own way and have written a series of life guides entitled The Accidental Caregiver Series: Helping Others Without Losing Yourself.
This first one, Helping Mom, relates to my experience in taking care of my mother. This short read is filled with insight into the realities of caregiving from the daily logistics to the emotional impact on both parties. The book gives an honest account of what the reader may expect to face in their own choice to become a caregiver as well as offers tips and strategies to navigate a loving experience.
Just like the small tarts I create as a baker, these life guides are served up to be digested in small bites. They are designed as easy reads that just might spark a desire for further learning and growth.
Enjoy!
